“La Scarpetta” by L’Acino is a red wine from Calabria made from Calabrese grapes(Nero D’Avola). It is aged for 6 months in chestnut barrels, it ia an intense, fullbodied wine, it has a well balanced tannin. In the mouth it has a lively freshness that brings with it full and varietal aromas, with notes of blackberries, cherries, cocoa, licorice and tobacco.
