Barolo Cicala Barolo 2015 is a robust, powerful wine, aged in big oak barrels for 28 months. Wild berries, jam, violets and dried flowers come out for a rich and dense texture. A great wine for ageing. The vineyard “Cicala” [meaning: balm-cricket] is about 40-45 years old and the vines are replanted from time to time. The main variety of Nebbiolo is Lampia and its rootstock is Rupestris du Lot.
