Bush Ambree 12
Bush Ambree 12
4,50€
ABV: 12%
Bottle: 33cl
Created in 1933 under the name of Bush Beer and Bush 12, it is one of the oldest Belgian specialty beers and the flagship of the Dubuisson Brasserie.
Amber in color, it has a slight white foam that dissipates very quickly.
The nose has an intense olfactory bouquet where we find hints of malt, caramel, yeast, fruit (apple in the first place), citrus fruits (orange peel and mandarin), tropical fruit (mango and passion fruit), dried fruit (nuts and hazelnuts ), honey, brown sugar, vanilla, spices (cloves) which rest on alcoholic notes that can remind you of Sherry and Cognac.
On the palate it is full-bodied, sweet and intriguing: no twists and turns, the olfactory scents are re-proposed with the ethyl component clearly visible. Bittersweet aftertaste. The high saturation rate makes Bush Ambrée a very digestible beer, excellent as an aperitif and as an after meal.
