A product awarded by food critics and all fans, it is handcrafted on the outskirts of Rome. Natural bitter handcrafted with maceration of aromatic and medicinal plants in pure wheat alcohol, Amaro Formidabile represents the result of a long research work aimed at discovering the world of liquor art handed down over the centuries. It is produced by cold maceration in wheat alcohol without the aid of additives, dyes, caramel or any type of synthetic or natural aroma. The production cycle, almost all manual, is controlled at every stage as well as the choice of raw materials: herbs, flowers, bark, roots and fruit peels, red china, Chinese rhubarb, absinthe, gentian, bitter orange, star anise and rose Muscat, to mention just a few.
Bright amber color, the aroma offers amber shades of toasted cocoa beans that lead us to the enveloping and warm silkiness of the consistency. On the palate the aromaticity of the rinds of three types of citrus fruit, together with anise, clove, coriander, mugwort and musk rose blend with the toasty, woody and oriental scent, while maintaining their distinctive trait, to give space to the finish for a long time persistent rhubarb candy.
To be served cold, preferably without ice, in small glasses. It goes well to bitter chocolate and dried fruit.
