A limited-edition release by Glenfiddich, commemorating a moment of drama in their distilleries history. Due heavy snow, the roof of their warehouse collapsed, so their Malt Master selected and married the finest Oloroso and American oak casks from under the debris creating the mythical ‘Snow Phoenix’.

On the nose it is a creamy and vibrant whisky, with honey, chocolate and sherry. Wild flavours on the palate with apples roasted in campfire embers, sweetened with heather honey and accompanied by a little chocolate. Rich and complex with a trace of burned sugar, coffee and wood smoke. the finish is exceptionally long with austere sherry notes mellow into satisfying sweetness.
