Hubert Brochard Pouilly Fumé AOP 2024 is an elegant, dry white wine made exclusively from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It is renowned for its distinctive minerality, often described as a “gunflint” or smoky note (“fumé”), derived from the local clay, limestone, and silex soils.
It pours a pale yellow colour with bright green reflections.
On the nose it is fresh and intense, offering a complex bouquet of citrus fruits (especially grapefruit), white flowers, almond, and the characteristic smoky or flinty nuance. Subtle notes of gooseberry or green apple may also be present.
On the palate the wine is dry, fresh, and well-balanced with vibrant acidity. It has a light, fruity taste and a persistent, clean finish dominated by its minerality
