Kinnegar Big Bunny New England Ipa

One of the many seasonal productions of Kinnegar, a New England IPA (or NEIPA if you prefer). The rabbit is the symbol of the brewery and it is nice how the slogan “follow the hops” . The appearance is inviting: the pale orange color is opalescent, not turbid as in other NEIPAs. Good foam, compact and medium persistence. Carbonation is also good. The aroma features citrus fruits on the nose: lemon, lime, grapefruit, cedar, bergamot. In the background tropical or yellow-fleshed fruits: apricot and mango above all. In the distance, herbaceous hints of pine. The taste follows the aroma with good fidelity with citrus fruits, bread and tropical fruit well balanced by a dry and (not too much) bitter finish with resin and citrus peel.
