Named after the limestone ridges (Grotte) of the Vittoria region, this Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico is a masterclass in balance. While many Sicilian reds lean toward extraction, Arianna focuses on the limestone terroir of the “high caves” to deliver a wine that is “alto” (high) in every sense: in altitude, in acidity, and in its elevated spirit. The 2021 vintage showcases a rare tension, where the sun-drenched fruit of Sicily meets a cool, mineral backbone.

Appearance: A brilliant, translucent ruby red—pure and unforced.

On the Nose: A complex, ever-evolving bouquet. It opens with wild strawberries, pomegranate, and blood orange, unfolding into deeper layers of dried rose petals, Mediterranean scrub (macchia), and a distinct flinty minerality.
