Triano 2024 is the most direct and fragrant expression of Rosso Conero according to Silvano Strologo. In this wine, Montepulciano sheds its heavy, austere coat to reveal its most vital and territorial side. The vineyards, located in the heart of the Conero Regional Park, benefit from the proximity to the Adriatic Sea and a white, calcareous soil that grants the wine a distinct minerality and crunchy fruit. It is a red with character, yet endowed with extraordinary drinkability.

Silvano Strologo follows a vinification protocol aimed at preserving the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are carefully selected and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The choice to avoid wood aging is intentional: Triano ages exclusively in steel and bottle to keep the varietal aromas of sour cherry and forest floor—typical of Conero’s Montepulciano—intact, ensuring freshness and aromatic purity.

On the Nose: An explosion of fresh red fruits: sour cherry, plum, and small forest berries stand out. Delicate floral notes of violet emerge, followed by a subtle saline hint that recalls the nearby sea.

In the Mouth: The palate is full, juicy, and enveloping. The tannins are present but velvety, well-balanced by a pleasant citrine freshness. The finish is fruity, clean, and slightly savory.
