Due to the great diversity of Campania terroirs from the hills on the coast to the volcanic soil of Vesuvius and the Mediterranean climate, there are many interesting wines to discover. The most demanding red wines are certainly Taurasi and Aglianico del Taburno obtained from the Aglianico grape.
Among the white wines, you can especially appreciate the fruity Fiano di Avellino, which smells of pome fruit and walnuts and can often also recall a muscat with notes of fresh grape skins. Interesting white wines also offer the Greco variety.
Aglianico wine is full-bodied, intense in color and presents red wines with a high tannin content with a long aging potential. when it develops into a deep, concentrated and very noble wine, it is usually praised in the highest tones.
