Deep and dense ruby red, violet shaded when young. The typical red fruit of the Montepulciano, particularly rich and mature, is well balanced with the wide spicy flavours ranging from black pepper and liquorice to balsamic, chocolate and tobacco hints. Full volume, silky and mature tannins texture. Round and velvety with a long lasting finish. It perfectly matches a great steak ora baked lamb with wild mountain herbs.
