Ardbeg An Oa Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardbeg An Oa, is a heavily peated Islay scotch whisky. It is Matured in three different types of casks, a combination of Pedro Ximénez, charred virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels. Resulting in this sweet, creamy Ardbeg offers notes of butterscotch, fennel seed, tobacco leaf, Honey Nut Clusters. The citrus notes are subtle and rich. On the Palate you get notes of cigars and golden syrup flapjacks with sweet black tea on the tail and hints of chocolate limes. Leaving you with a peaty smoke treacle after taste.
Ardbeg’s Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey “An Oa” owes its name to the town of Mull of Oa, located in the south of Islay, sheltered from bad weather and storms.
