Glendronach The Hielan 8 Yr Old

A 2015 addition to the main Glendronach range, this 8 year old girl is called The Hielan. Aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry barrels, this one is rich with notes of nuts, caramel and spices.

NOSE
Rounded waves of orange blossom and a touch of citrus flow over a buttery, golden sultanas, dried raisins and ripe yellow plums; all dusted with a touch of vanilla.
PALATE
Crispy and vibrant oak spices, hot sultanas, apricot jam and gingerbread; all rounded by delicate hints of caramel with butter, cocoa and toasted almonds.
TO FINISH
The classic tones of sherry with a sharp contrasting dimension demonstrate the complexity of the traditional character of the Highlands.
