Selected from old vines, more than 40 years old. Vineyards are located in the Monte Foscarino: basaltic-volcanic soil and south-east exposure of the vines. Fermentation takes place in used barriques. Prior to racking, batonnage is carried out every 6 weeks for about 6 months. Fining for 6 months in stainless steel vats. Great ageing potential until 10-15 years.
