Domaine Philippe Goulley Petit Chablis 2022

The Petite Chablis by Domaine Philippe Goulley is a direct Chablis, to drink both with elaborate and simple dishes. Defining it as the company’s entry product would slight this wine, as it has all the hints of a great Chablis from Burgundy. Its color in the glass immediately makes you fall in love: golden yellow reminiscent of all citrus fruits, perceptible both by smell and taste. Phippe Goulley’s goal is to produce quality and organic wines, thus preserving the environment around him. This philosophy, combined with the unique terroir rich in fossil marine sediments (called, in the area, “Kimmeridgien”) creates elegant and unique wines, decidedly savory and vegetal, with marked acidity and minerality.
