Montefico takes its name from one of the most historic vineyards located near the village of Barbaresco; it is one of the two crus on which La Ca ‘Nova has decided to focus since the beginning of its wine adventure.
Fermentation in steel tanks for 22 days, aging for 18 months in large oak barrels, and for a further 10 months in the bottle; resulting in this increbile Barbaresco Vigna Bric Mentina “Montefico” DOCG: a product whose class can already be seen in the olfactory bouquet, an expression of elegant and enveloping aromas.
A very pleasant wine, to be drunk in one breath. We recommend tasting it with meat appetizers, first courses with meat sauce or with red meat main courses.
